Just like with your home, sometimes our animal's homes need repair. For the safety of our residents, and those working on the repairs, animals will be required to be in behind-the-scenes areas for the work to be done. Unfortunately that means you might not get to see them on your visit.
We'll try to keep this information as up-to-date as possible. Please know that there are emergencies that might pop up.
Please be sure to check at the Admissions windows for the most current information.

Where is the Gorilla Family Today?
The location of the family group will be evaluated on a day to day basis. This could mean that the group is in a behind-the-scenes area on any given day and unavailable to greet guests.
Sunday-Saturday: Public Dayroom or Outside
*This schedule is subject to change at any time.
** Cleaning of the Dayroom will take place in the morning prior to family group coming out into the space, this may mean family does not appear until mid to late morning. The family group may also go back behind-the-scenes in the late afternoon.
*** Weather permitting, the group may appear on the outdoor exhibit on days they are scheduled for behind the scenes.
